Diamond, Gwen and Rebel are scalped. The issue is finally resolved, and is officially closed. Diamond takes a magic ring from one of Sauron's minions. The ring proves to be dangerously cursed, although useful. Gwen casts her divine intervention to talk with the Earth Goddess to see if she will take something in exchange for Kyle Grey's freedom. The Earth Goddess replies that three must put their souls at risk to save Kyle.

Banecroft began drawing plans for Queen of Hearts. Veros, Gwen and Myrdden accepted the risk to free Kyle Grey. Diamond issued the Dwarven ring of Sauron to Veros to help him. Diamond voted runner-up as best Role Model.

The Realms attempted to destroy some invading goblins, but failed to stop them from summoning Crimsoneye, a demon. Banecroft fiought well that day.

Shadow's Wrath |

Meanwhile, at Shadow's Wrath, Rebel, all alone while the rest of the Barony was fighting the goblins at Winter's Plight, got tortured and other unpleasant things. He bore the strain and became the most knowledgeable person about the Shadow's plot.

Chimeron declared a day of Goblin Hunting, since there seemed to be an inordininate crop of them this year. Quick and Sorshana were released from the Curse of the Darkwood Sword, and Sorshana apologises to Diamond for the events at the North South War. Veros, Gonvf, Sir Pyr, and Company pull Soulis, the sixth Wayland Blade, straight from the core of a tree. Diamond tells Voltric how to free the First of the Toh-Rahni. Blue is dicovered but lost before Gwen arrives to use her intervention to send it away. Banecroft wins second place in the goblin hunt, beginning the tradition of the Baronial decanter.

The god Mortos sent his gang of thieves to take over a countryside. The Realms intervened and made a weapon to destroy Mortos, and his thieves. Diamond fought, but was disgusted by the fact that the villagers they were trying to save were fighting against them. He observes the Orks acting as thieves as well.

Myrdden discovered his instinctual affinity to the elves of Myth Drannor. Banecroft fought to free Myth Drannor but the effort proved futile. The curse on Veros's ring proved to be more serious than first thought and he is scalped. Touchy negotiations with Heidencreis were needed to restore Veros. The ring remains in Heidencreis hands, much to Diamond's relief. Diamond becomes a Knight of the Sable Dragon.

The Aspis began scouting out the Realms in preparation for the invasion. Diamond is called away to avert a diplomatic crisis with the Troll King back in Banecroft.

The Realms successfully navigated the plane of dreams to find the Nameless One's True Name: Akivasha. The Nameless One's Avatar, Skullcrusher, was destroyed by McKrye, but his skull was left behind. Gwen learned more of Fafnir, and her wielding of the dream versions of Smaug and Fafnir proved critical. Diamond adds the final straw that breaks the Nameless One's will. "Do you want my name? Is that what you're hear after?" she said in her hurt child's voice. "Yes, by Faelie! That's what we've come and fought and died over!" Diamond exploded finally.

The Aspis invade. The land of Banecroft fell in battle to the Aspis, but later Blade (new leader of the Aspis) returns Banecroft.

Team Anne |
The Barony had a great time supporting Lady Anne. Banecroft, Eagle's Rook, Village of Wren and the Tinkerers guild and others banded together to make a great team. A two year long rivalry is concluded when Lorhner beats Diamond by a hair's breadth in the running tourney. Savyne discovers the runes on the prize glasses.

Titania plotted to cause a war to drink the life essense of the dead with her magic (cursed) chalis. A Blackstar courier arrives with the Seventh Wayland Blade, Elidor, bringing all Seven together. The coming together of the Wayland Blades set loose the Furies. The Lich's childe was killed, Meerkat was cured. Banecroft attempted several times to get Blue back to the Rainbow plane but were thwarted.

The Soul Blade was destroyed. Diamond was one of the last who could safely carry the Soulblade, and he bore it to it's final resting place at the pit of fire

Prince Morgil Ravenswing was assassinated. Chimeron and Folkestone nearly went to war as a result. Myrdden ran dancing.

Savyne and Diamond went to the Festival to try and revive Morgil, but it was Cora of Verai who did it in the end

Several 'Fingers' of the Nightmaster made an appearance, copying various members of the Realms. Stuart frees a Toh-Rhani and Savyne frees the final Toh-Thani just in time to recover the Staff of Chimeron that it had taken!
