History
Adara's parents were moderately wealthy and very old fashioned. They died of a plague when she was about 12. She was left in the care of her older brother Philip and his wife. Her sister and law and herself did not get along, and often bickered. Her sister in law (Edith) saw her as a threat to her position in the household, while Adara found Edith impossibly demanding and hated the fact she would take credit for Adara's work. This led to much frustration and spurred Adara to leave her home at 15. She met with the Blue Falcons, and their emphasis on honor allowed her to trust them. She has stayed with them, learning to fight to protect her friends and the Barony. Philip has nearly forgiven her for leaving. He does not pursue her and he even wishes her well, as much as he misses her. Adara avoids things that will change her permanently, including learning magic, for personal reasons. Lady Adara is this year's (1005) elected leader of the Blue Falcons. |
